WHY GREEN?

Our society and the world itself ask: is climate change a real danger, am I enough to make a change, what should we do to reduce the carbon emissions, who benefits from green policies, and are people paying for damage caused by business corporations and politicians? Activists, scientists, media and NGOs are alarmed and call for action, both on the part of the individual and as societies and nations. But science is complex, politics are profit-oriented, and media is not as independent as it should be.

That’s why we want to start from the basics: what is climate change, how does it affect us, what are the future consequences of it and who is responsible to act now?

Yesterday, we talked about global warming, today it is all about climate change. Is there any green propaganda that makes people feel guilty for what is not in their hands? Who should be held responsible for the massive carbon emissions? Are we able to give up the comforts of modern technological life and is it necessary at all?

We talk with students ready to ask critical questions and we get in touch with experts who answer them.

Moreover, we are conducting interviews with youth engaged in green causes and will share their stories and passions that inspire.

WHY GREEN is implemented with the support of the Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation through funding under the project "Game on! Do not let climate change end the game" from the DEAR program of the European Commission.
